Baby Silkie Chicks 2012

We raise Silkies Chickens. They are a smaller bantam chicken who will hatch they're own eggs with a rooster. We also incubate eggs and it's a great learning experience. They look like big white snow balls. The great thing is that they are great with my 4 year old daughter. I'm hoping my daughter will be a 4-H Clover in about 2 years and she will show her chickens.

This Picture was taken on Easter Sunday this year 2012. This was a great Easter gift are first baby chick for the season!
This is one of the big fluffy white snow ball hen.

This is one of the roosters.

This is a picture of the newly hatched baby chicks in the incubator.

This is my daughter Kaitlyn with one of her roosters. See how docile they are. Kaitlyn picks the roosters right up a normal rooster would scratch your eyes out! lol

One of the off colored hens I have but she is really good about hatching and taking care of babies. One thing about hens is they all lay and they all sit even if it's not all their own eggs they sit on.
